The Butterfly Farm

Located in the Palm Beach area, the Butterfly Farm showcases butterflies and moths from around the world within a spacious mesh enclosure filled with tropical vegetation, walking paths, and fishponds. Tours are conducted regularly throughout the day, with knowledgeable guides providing engaging explanations of the butterfly life cycle as well as the charming habits of these beautiful creatures. Early-morning visitors can expect to see new butterflies emerging from cocoons!

Aruba Ostrich Farm

Aruba's temperate climate and arid terrain provide ideal living conditions for the flock of over 80 ostriches and emus residing at the Aruba Ostrich Farm. Tours enable you to interact with these birds—you can even feed them!—while learning about their behaviors and survival instincts from well-informed guides. In honor of the ostrich's African homeland, a spacious open-air lodge houses an African art boutique as well as a restaurant specializing in Afro-Caribbean cuisine.

The Aruba Donkey Sanctuary

This sanctuary was founded in 1997 as a non-profit and completely volunteer-run organization. Their mission is simple—save the donkeys! The Donkey Sanctuary provides a safe haven where each donkey is given a name and receives food, water, shelter, medical care, and lots of love. We encourage you to come by to feed and pet the donkeys.
